You can go to the Realidades I and II textbook companion site for various activities.  A word of advice...study in small chunks and study little by little.  Cramming is not going to produce good results.

jueves, 28/9: Paper bell ringer--Collect; Study guide questions; center rotations for Ch. 1A; Type II--When using affirmative/negative vocabulary, what is different in Spanish than what we do in English? Type I--If you were to describe the word order using a formula, how would you express it? (one line-formula)

viernes, 29/9: Bellringer--Given these sample negative sentences, what formula(s) could you write to express the word order? ex. No, no tengo ningún lápiz. ex. Nunca leo novelas de ficción.; Type II--Explain the difference between "Hay que estudiar poco a poco." versus "Tengo que estudiar poco a poco." Think rule vs. personal obligation.--In both sentences what follows "que" in the formulas. Rewrite yesterday's bellringer and practice with a partner. Save and study for the Unit Test.; Finish the last center from yesterday; complete workbook p.p. 8 and 13

January weather is getting crazy...I will keep a to do list for each week, including what to study, homework, and quizzes/tests.

To date, we have started Ch. 3A and have worked through all of the vocabulary except all of the phrases. We have completed the lesson on direct object pronouns, and ir/ser in the preterite. Continue to study webcodes in the study guide for these concepts. We have gone over workbook pages for vocabulary through p. 56 (not 50).

Week of January 22: We will work on text pages 142-145, workbook p. 57, yellow p. 54-55 and all corresponding webcodes with study guide pages 103-105. Get the notes page that is color coded this week.

Vocab Skill/DOP Quiz 1/24 in Lab 265--can be redone Friday if not 85% accuracy

Unit Test 3A will be 1/26 if work goes well, if not 1/30

Week of January 31: We are working on the yellow page review material for Ch. 3B and the vocabulary input for the chapter. We will be reviewing irregular "yo" present tense verbs. Notice the publishing error in the study guide giving past definitions instead of present definitions. We will also look at the rest of the direct object pronouns. We will have completed study guide pages to 120, workbook to p. 66, and lab manual p.p. 59-60.

There will be a vocabulary Quiz 3B in context on 2/7, Wednesday. There is no lab day this day.

Week of February 5 through 2/13 or 14: We will complete all text activities through the end of the chapter, all yellow speaking activities, and all audio activities in the yellow manual pages. We will further discuss the structure of "barrios" and how to use a metro map. We will discuss more driving culture and public transportation. We will complete wb to p. 68 and the grammar section of p. 70. I ADDED IN REVIEW SHEETS 88-89. THE TEST with the cancellation and subs, IS POSTPONED UNTIL FRIDAY 2/16.
