Sonic General Tips



@ Consistant homing attacks are good for taking out large groups of enemies(as well as moving acoss large spaces).
@ Using Light Speed Shoes is even better for moving across large spaces led by a trail of rings.
@ Sonic's levels are:
Boss 1: Chaos 0
1. Emerald Coast
Boss 2: Egg Hornet
2. Windy Valley
3. Casinopolis
4. Icecap
Boss 3: Knuckles
Boss 4: Chaos 4
Sub Game 1: Sky Chase Act 1
5. Twinkle Park
Sub Game 2: Twinkle Circuit
6. Speed Highway
7. Red Mountain

Tails General tips



@ Get the Jet Anklet as soon as possible (see 3. for more info. on the Jet Anklet)
@ on most bosses(except Egg walker) it is good to just jump on Robotnik's (or Chaos') head.
@ In races use Tail's flying ability to find shortcuts like dashrings or avoiding having to take the time to jump over obstacles.

Knuckles General Tips


@ When You get the Shovel Gloves start digging in soil (unless he says "It's no use") you will find rings and sheilds.
@ Use punches to kill enemies.
@ If you start to fall to your death, try to glide to a surface and attempt to climb it.

Watch the strength of your rod if it is red lay off a little, if it reaches the top your a goner.

E-102 Gamma General Tips


Try to destroy enemies in groups to get a more Hefty Time Bonus

Gamma's Levels are:

Upgrade locations





Sonic Upgrades


Light Speed Shoes: After Windy Valley, Return to Station Square and go past Twinkle Park, The newstand and onto the next part of Station Square. You will see a Manhole, go down in it. Go forward and jump up to the second part and you will see the Light speed Shoes.
How to use: Hold down the acion button (B or X) untill Sonic glows wih a blue light release when you find a trail of rings.

Tails' Upgrades


Rhythm Badge: When you to Tikal's world in the past, Go to the left and up the 2nd pair of stairs, you should see the Rhythm Badge. Hold down X/B to complete continuous tail attacks.
Jet Anklet: At the very beginning, go to the sewer behind Twinkle Park, then fly up the hole inside the sewer, go through the door to find the Jet Anklet which makes your normal flying faster.

Knuckles' Upgrades


Shovel Claw: After beating Chaos 4 go to the cave by the minecart that takes you to the Chao Garden, but instead go in the next cave. A grate will shut behind you. get the Shovel Claw and go through the small Crevace to find a small piller of dirt. jump on to it and dig you will find a monkey destruction switch. Pick it up carry it over to the monkey and throw. Boom! The gate will open. How to use: Hold B then press A to dig.
Fighting Gloves: After beating Red Mountain go into the Jungle over to Big's house. Climb the tree stump and stand on it. Look around untill you see a cliff. Glide to the cliff, climb it and walk on it to find the Fighting Gloves. How to use: See sonic's Light Speed Dash but instead does the Maximum Heat Knuckles Attack.

Amy's Upgrades


Warrior feather: After Gamma Lets you out, Play "Hedgehog hammer" untill you beat the high score. Then You get the Warrior Feather. How to use: To do the Hammer Swing Hold X/B and rotate Joystick 360º.
Long Hammer: Extends Hammer distance. I have yet to get this but rumor has it after Hot shelter re-beat your Hedgehog hammer high score to get the long hammer.

Big's Upgrades


Life Belt: After opening the Ice Room go to the lake, before it stop and look left. You will see the Life belt. How to use: It makes you float in water, to go under water hold down X/B To return to the surface, Release.
Power Rod: When you are in the Jungle, go to Big's House and Push his bed over sp ypu can slip under to get the Power Rod, which gives you longer casting distance (10 more meters!)

E-102 Gamma's Upgrades


Jet Booster: When Eggman tells you to get the Jet booster from the ammunition room, go there, drop down and get the Jet Booster. How to use: Jump then Hold A to glide.
Laser Blaster: After the Egg Carrier crashes go to the Egg Carrier, and go to the Egg Carrier Reservoir. The water is drained, so drop down and get the Laser blaster, which gives you more gun barrels.


4.Super Sonic


After beating the game with all six characters, you get Super Sonic! Select Super Sonic and you start out with a bunch of cutscenes (I won't spoil it too much because it is way past cool as Sonic would say!)After Tail's says to follow him. Go to Angel Island where Knuckles' and Eggman are knocked out for more cutscenes. (I can't remember if you go there yourself or if the cutscene takes you there) Go to the jungle and Big's house (Because Tornado 2 is there) and Chao's gets it first and has ALL 7 EMERALDS!!! Tikal takes you back to the fire scene again run up to the shrine. More cutscenes. then she tells you Chaos' rage must be calmed(If I remember right) Then a whole ton more of cutscenes (I think) Untill you become Super Sonic!!!!
Remember Super Sonic in Sonic 3? The controls and rules are the same except he now has a Homing Attack. He starts with 50 rings which go down to 0 rings at a steady pace. When your ring total reaches zero you return to Sonic and DIE!!!! But there are more rings you can get.
5. Credits and usage info. Credets!!! Me, myself, and I  for doing all the work and playing 10 hrs. straight just so I could access SS.
Please ask me before you use or as soon as I find out I'll scream bloody murder, and will ask for to take it off.
