In the South or sun belt of America,life is more than different. What one believes in the south would be nonsense to people of the north. We are known for our hopitality. We are said to be very friendly people. Our eating habbits are also different. We eat Fried chicken, collard greens, mustard greens, home made fries, baked potatoes, sweet poatatoes, corn bread( we pronounce it cone bread), poatato salad, and fried pork chops( we pronounce it poke chops). All kinds of southern home cooking. If you thinks that's all then you got anotha thang com "n". The most interesting thing about us our strnge beliefs. We are a superstious people. We have strong beliefs in goog spirits and evil spirts. Take this story for instants.
There was once a girl named jessica who was nothing but trouble. Everyone knew she was special and unique but they did not know why, they just knew. This girl had every talent in the world. She played the piano, played sports, she could sing very well, she was special, but she was more specialthen everyone thought. One night she had a dream that someone was calling out to her saying " you have a gift my child, you were born with a purpose in life". Hearing she woke up quikly in the middle of the night. When she opened her eyes completely she noticed a shinning light in her ceiling. Suddenly an arm reached out from the lght and a voice said take my hand and you will see your purpose in life. She took the hand. Now I know that this story may seem wacked but these are the kinds of stories that we as southerners believe in.
