Why? To fund the Junior-Senior Prom at Hilton KCI and the
After-Prom Party
When? March 1, 2009 from 11 am to 5 pm
Where? St. Pius X Commons
How? Lots of planning and hard work from the Junior Class
and junior parents
Junior Class Student Council and their parents will chair committees and get things organized, but we will need lots of donations, spaghetti cookers, meatball makers, solicitations, publicity, dessert-making, etc. to pull off this fundraiser that has raised $20,000+ in recent years.
All juniors are expected to sell $210.00 of tickets for the event, and work one set-up/clean-up and one serving shift. All juniors who meet these expectations go to the Prom both their junior and senior years at no additional cost. Mrs. Lana Carlson oversees all student involvement in the spaghetti dinner and ticket sales. Junior seminar teachers will assist with supervision of students.
Meeting for ALL junior parents on Wednesday, January 14 at 7 pm in the Commons. Come - sign up for committees - make donations - share contacts that may be helpful. Each junior family is asked to contribute $5.00 for start-up funds.
Get ready for a lot of spaghetti, a lot of hard work, and a lot of fun!
