Holy Family, Spanish Classes

                       Updated May 19, 2006
¡Hola!  Bienvenidos a las Clases De Español

We are deep inside our 4th quarter.  Do you have all of your work in?  Please see me if your need extra help.
I am delighted to maintain a Web Page where students and parents can check for Spanish class information:  assignments, projects, test dates and the phrase of the day.  Of course, all information will be given in class, but if you miss a class, this will be one way to stay informed.  I have given each student my telephone number so that they may call me with questions or problems as well. Last but not least, each student has a 'homework buddy' who is responsible for knowing the homework for the day if his or her buddy is absent.

HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN SPANISH:
1.  Bring your Spanish book, Spanish notebook with paper, dictionary, pen or pencil to class.
2.  Listen  (Escucha)
3.  Write down the information on the board or overhead.  Take notes.
4.  Speak Spanish whenever possible.
5.  If you don't understand something, ask questions, CALL ME AT HOME, come to see me before or after school or make an appointment to see me at a convenient time.

YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EXTRA CREDIT POINT IF YOU HAVE YOUR PARENT SIGN A PIECE OF PAPER THAT SAYS, Me encanta el fin de semana. For an extra point, tell me what this means.
