¡Hola amigos!
I have created this webpage to help you in your studies of Spanish. There are several components which, I hope, will serve you well.
First of all, you will find a chapter outline for each grade. I will summarize the important points of study, and for my 7th and 8th graders, I will note page numbers in your text which will be helpful.
Secondly, if you are a 7th or 8th grader, you may want to stop by the media center to pick up a copy of the "Take Home Tutor," which is exactly what it states. You may load this on to your computer, and it will guide you through grammar and vocabulary points for each chapter.
Thirdly, I would like my 7th and 8th graders to know that there is an excellent online practice site, which may be accessed via the internet at: www.classzone.com. This is another super tool for practice with vocabulary, grammar, and reading for each and every chapter we cover in our text.
For everyone, I have listed at the bottom of this page various websites of interest, and loads and loads of fun practice games.
If you or your parents ever need to contact me for any reason, please use my school email address purwin@fultonschools.org. I check it throughout the day, and am happy to respond in a very timely fashion. If you would prefer to talk on the phone or would like to schedule a conference, please email me a phone number at which you may be reached after five o'clock.
My help session for make up work or extra help is on Wednesday mornings from 7:15 to 8:15, or by appointment.
I am looking forward to a terrific year with all of my students from all of the teams! I know we are going to work dilligently, learn a lot, and laugh a lot too!
