German Course Newsletters - Lessons for German : Learn German through About.com. Why go it alone? It can be difficult navigating your way through the many lessons at a German Language site. This site offers a helpful guide to the advanced or beginner lessons. Just subscribe to one of these free course newsletters designed to take you step-by-step through a series of German lessons and exercises. Pick the course you want and you'll receive a weekly newsletter that will lead you through a five-week series of lessons.
This is an online Beginners' German course designed by the German Department of the University of Exeter. It will contain twenty chapters of dialogue and exercises which are designed to give the absolute beginner a grounding in the rudiments of the German language, as well as providing background information about life and culture in all the major German-speaking countries
