Aug. 22: Disclosure and policies.

Aug. 24: Self-starter #1: What do you visualize when you think of France/French culture? Why? Go over numbers and time. Do clocks worksheet, due next time (36 points).

Aug. 26: Self-starter #2: What time do you: Get to school, wake up, go to bed? Correct clocks (36 points). Go over days of the week and months of the year. Make a calendar, due Tues (20 points).

Aug. 30: Self-starter #3: Write the date: Valentine's Day, Halloween, Christmas. Turn in calendar. Do a worksheet about days of the week (10 points) and watch a film of Paris.

Sept. 1: Self-starter #4: What was the most interesting thing you learned from the film. Self-starters due next time. Go over greetings and do a word search, correct in class (15 points).

Sept. 6: Self-starter #5: Whatever you want (5 sentences). Turn in Self-starters #1-5 (25 points). Go over alphabet and write and perform greetings skits (30 points). Play Bingo in French.

Sept. 8: Self-starter #6: How would you greet the following: a friend, your mom, the president, a stranger? Assembly/watch a film.

Sept. 12: Self-starter #7: Bonjour. Ça va? Comment vous vous appelez? (respond) Go over Chap. 1 vocab, begin packet.

Sept. 14: Self-starter #8: Filll in with le, la, les, l': ____fille, ____frère, ____ garçons, _____ami. Finish packet.

Sept. 16: Self-starter #9: What would you tell your parents about your grade at P/T Conferences? Self-starters #6-10 due next time. Correct packet (104 points) and review.

Sept. 20: Self-starter #10: What do you need to study for the test Thursday? Make flashcards/vocab foldable (30 points). Do cultural reading and chapter review.

Sept. 22: Self-starter #11: Whatever you want. Play Eggspert. Take Chapter 1 Test.

Sept. 27: Self-starter #12: Describe what you are not. Go over Chapter 2 vocab and design a school schedule, due next time (20 points).

Sept. 29: Self-starter #13: Write your phone number in French. Watch a film.

Oct. 3: Self-starter #14: Describe yourself in French. Go over ER verbs. Start ER verb packet. Self-starters #11-15 due next time.

Oct. 5: Self-starter #15: Whatever you want. Turn in Self-starters #11-15 (25 points). Finish packet.

Oct. 7: Self-starter #16: Write 3 phrases about yourself using ER Verbs. Correct packet and redo if necessary.
