Welcome Pinnacle WHAP Students! Below is the original Web Lesson that was created to be a self-study lesson. HOWEVER, you have a different set of directions on a paper before you. I hope that you enjoy this experience. There is much information to learn, and you can have fun (hopefully) while doing so. Feel free to ask questions! Oh, there may be a few typos; could you please point these out to me so that I may correct them later. Thanks! ************************************************************************** This website was created to help students of World History AP, to get a more in-depth grasp of the Late Middle Ages. The student will go through the various activities, in order that is listed, and will be graded on a session quiz at the end of the unit. It is necessary to go through all of the activities, as these will provide the student with a study guide for the final quiz. This final quiz will be graded by the teacher. These lessons will give the student a background on the late Middle Ages, in order to help the student to better understand the Renaissance. By the end of this lesson: 1) The student will be able to define key terms from the Middle Ages; 2) The student will be able to describe the events of the late Middle Ages; 3) The student will be able to determine which of these events led to the "Rebirth" of Europe, known as the Renaissance; and, 4) The student will be able to evaluate these events, and relate these events to the movements in the Renaissance. This unit should take no longer than two weeks. The order of coursework will go along with the order of the website. (Please note that not all sections will be looked at).
