Letter From Teacher Announcements Homework

Dear parents,

This week is a short one, and it will be gone before you know it! Tomorrow we are having our Multicultural Day feast. This fun event is an excellent opportunity to learn about each other's heritage, family traditions and favorite food. Students have been writing about the recipes they are bringing and describing them to the class. They have also been creating flags of their recipe's origin.

The service project for the month of November is the Thanksgiving food collection. Students were asked to donate non-perishable canned goods and money to aid St. Justin's parish in providing dinners for over 700 local families. If you have any last minute donations, please bring them in because there will be a final "pick up tomorrow after school. Again, I would like to thank you for all your support and generosity!

Have a wonderful, restful, and safe Thanksgiving!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Humphries
