Little Tony's Restaurant
My dad Anthony but who our family calls him Tony has a restaurant beneath our house. Everyone in the neighborhood likes to eat in my dad's restaurant. My name is Anthony but my family calls me Little Tony; I like to help my dad in the restaurant. When I come from school I go directly to the restaurant get the dirty dishes from the tables and take them to the kitchen my dad likes that I help around. I have lots of fun helping in the restaurant. One early morning I heard the siren of firemen they were in front of the restaurant I ran downstairs with my mom and we saw my dad talking to a fireman when I look at the restaurant it was burned down. I started to cry and my dad was very sad. When the sun was very high in the sky all the firemen left. I asked my dad what are we going to do and he said "I don't know son", and kept walking towards the neighbors. The next
week when I came from school I saw my dad and some neighbors cleaning the restaurant. The next afternoon I heard my dad talking to me mom that he was going to the bank. Few weeks past and my dad kept working in the restaurant. I asked him if he wanted help but he said no I was very sad I miss the restaurant because I like being with my dad. Some more weeks past from the day of the fire and my dad said "Little Tony tomorrow when we come from church is going to be the reopening of the restaurant and there will be a surprise for you". I wasn't that excited because I never help my dad rebuild the restaurant. The next day we went to church than to the reopening of the restaurant my dad was giving a speech and thanking all the neighbors for the help and said that the restaurant had a new name at the top was a big sign and it was covered he took it off and the sign reads " Little Tony's Restaurant" I look up to the sign and couldn't beleive my eyes. I gave a big hug to my dad and he said "Little Tony this is for you thank you for being my son I love you" and I said "Thank you daddy and I love you too". From that day forward me and my dad kept working together in our restaurant.
