Subject Verb Agreement
Number: To make sure your subjects and verbs agree, you must first know the "number" of your subject.
- If subject of the sentence is singular, then the verb must also be singular. Likewise, if the subject is plural the verb must be plural.
Simple you say? Well choosing the correct verb can be tricky if you don't pay attention to the subject/subjects and follow the rules.
