CURRENT NHS MEMBERS:
There is a scholarship opportunity available. Please see Ms. Kirst or Ms. Kardaras before Thanksgiving break for more information!
Please make sure you review the by-laws completely as you are responsible for understanding their expectations and consequences.
Please keep in mind that you must complete 35 hours of service before graduation. This is an 10 additional hours to the Christian Service Requirement for graduation. Your first 20 service hours are due on January 8, 2009. The final 15 hours are due on April 30, 2009. Please note: if you fail to complete your service hours for your member status in NHS will at risk.
SERVICE OPPORTUNITY:
Adrenaline SPorts Management is in need of volunteers for the first Santa Shuffle 5K! The race is scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Volunteers would need to be on site by 7 a.m.
This event will be taking place in Lincoln Park of Chicago, IL between Lake Shore Drive and Clark St. The 5K course will be run through the park, which is home to famous areas such as the Grant and Benjamin Franklin Monuments as well as the Lincoln Park Zoo. This winter-themed event will be the third race in the Go Green. Get Fit. Race Series. Participants will be able to enjoy the beauty of Chicago’s early winter and find ways to stay “Green” during the season.

PROSPECTIVE NHS MEMBERS
If you would like to know more about our qualifications for NHS see the link below titled "Qualifications for NHS Membership". Membership is granted to those who meet the qualifications in the Spring of their junior year or Fall of their senior year.
The second round of applications for the class of 2010 have been mailed to qualified applicants. See the links below for application materials.
Applications for the class of 2011 will be mailed out in February 2010.
