< 5th Grade

The fifth grade class is in on a two week rotation schedule. Students will come to me for 2 weeks, Mrs. Smith for 2 weeks and Mrs. Little for two weeks. This is being done to give the students extra help in Reading, Math and Science. We will be using Measure Up Work Book, Qwizdom interactive, Math Facts program and Accelerated Math.

6th Grade

The six graders will be working this six weeks on all of the aspects of Fractions. We are continuing to work in our Measure Up workbooks throughout the year. We are also taking weekly vocabulary test. Vocabulary is a large part of the students learning. They have to know what the terms mean in order to know what to do on each problem.

7th Grade

The Seventh graders in 5th period are on a class rotation every 3 weeks with myself and Mrs. Rogers. The 7th period class I keep all year. We will be working with our Math vocabulary weekly to help clairify our understanding. We will be continuously working on our Measure Up Workbook.

8th Grade

My eighth graders will be on 2 week and 3 week rotations. They will be tested this year over 4 different subjects for the TAKS. We will be working a great deal on our Meausre Up Workbook and Accelerated Math.
