Dear Sea Turtles,

Happy 2012! Remember the tips to be a successful middle school student:

Be sure to come to class with your materials: binder, assignment book, completed homework, pen, sharpened pencil, a blue or black pen and a colored pen for correcting.

When you are absent, remember you must make up missed work. Be sure to look at the weekly homework sheet posted on the board and to check in with me when you return to school. It is important to complete missed assignments as soon as possible. If you would like to review what you missed, check this site for after school extra help days. Please remember that I am here to help you so don't hesitate to come see me and ask questions.

What's happening in Geography::

We are wrapping up our study of Africa and will begin our journey through China.

Upcoming events: Peobody Essex Museum field trip on Wed., May 2, 2012. Be sure to return your signed permission slip and check to your Advisory teacher as soon as possible.

Please Note regarding quizzes and tests:
- Quizzes and Tests will be returned as soon as possible, but only after all students who missed the quiz/test have made it up.
- Students may bring their quiz home to show parents, but all quizzes, tests and graded papers will be stored in classroom folders.
- Any grade below a 60% requires a parent signature and returned to Mrs. Tasker.
