This is a page with links and information that may be helpful for the PARENTS of the students in Mr. Brown's classes.

You can go to the unit pages that your son/daughter would normally use, and/or to a number of other sites that will help to to stay involved with your child's learning.


The CALENDAR which includes a lot of IMPORTANT information such as TEST dates, ASSIGNMENT Due dates, and more can be found on the CALANDAR link at the top of the page.

DOES YOUR STUDENT NEED HELP STUDYING?
WHS has a "Safe" Video Library. You can get to it at the following address or through the school web site. I have posted many videos ranging from under a minute to 15 minutes long as a resource to help you understand the topics we study. Sometimes it helps to hear things said in a different way, so there are sometimes more than one video posted with the hopes that you'll be able to connect your personal learning style to one of them.

Additionally, if you find a video or other appropriate learning resource that was helpful to you, send me the link. Maybe it would be helpful to others in our learning community. If it is really good I may throw in a bonus point for the tip.

FOR MORE DATES AND CLASS INFORMATION, CLICK THE CALENDAR AT THE TOP, OR ON AN EVENT IN MY CALENDAR SECTION AND LOOK AT MY FULL CALENDAR. FROM HERE YOU CAN SEE THE ENTIRE MONTH AT A TIME.

While I probably will not be able to put everything on the calendar, I will try to put most assignments and messages there. Look for the calendar link near the upper part of the page on the left. Students are given an opportunity and strongly encouraged to use their agendas as well.
