Geothermal energy is energy deprived from under Earth's suface, in the atmosphere, or in the oceans. Even though only one percent of the Worlds energy is created by the earth's heat it still has great potential to cut back on greenhouse gases caused by fossil fuels.

Advantages- All energy create by the geothermal generators is emissions free. Geothermal energy is reusable because the hot water used in the process can be put back into the groung and used over and over again. Unlike solar energy Geothermal energy can continously create energy day and night. Once the power pant is built, it is fairly cheap to make energy.

Disandvantages-Where geothermal powerplantss are built, land may become very unstable because of drilling. Also hot areas in the earth may become cool.
