Week 21 Jan. 15-19
Saxon Phonics/Language
We will be introducing the letter U. Students should be able to identify the uppercase and lowercase letter U and say the sound. We will be using phonemic awareness, spelling sounds, and daily worksheets.
Math
We will be doing Saxon Math lessons 65 through 68. Students will be able to: identify the numbers 0-20 and put them in order, identify a one-cup measuring cup, identify full, half-full, and empty containers, identify a quart container, and cover a design in more than one way using pattern blocks.
Science
This week in Science we will be reading and discussing big book pages 26 through 37. We will be covering the concepts of same and different, and sorting objects into groups.
