This course is a one-semester course that familiarizes students with the American economy and their role as consumers. Studying money management, using credit wisely, buying goods and services, evaluating advertisements, understanding laws governing consumers, and researching careers and employment will be covered. This satisfies the consumer education requirement for graduation.
