We are in the home stretch of our third grade year! Wow, that went fast. The students continue to be avid readers and writers. Soon, they will be bringing home poetry books with a variety of poetic forms. You're going to love them!
In science we have been studying soil and volcanoes. You may have heard about our worm farm. We observed how worms use and make soil! The students made their own small volcanoes and erupted them. Earthquakes are next!
Keep studying those addition/subtraction and multiplication/division facts. Accuracy and speed will help your child in math tremendously.
