Welcome to the Towne Acres Library!

Students in grades 1-5 come to the library once a week for an hour class. Kindergarten students come two times a week for 30 minutes each class.

Students are encouraged to read and check out books for fun and information.

During the library class students in all grades listen to stories and learn information skills, such as reference and study skills, as well as have time to check out books.

During the leisurely days of summer, make time to read something you want to read just for the fun of reading. This is a great time to explore different topics which you find interesting, or just want to know more about. Read the comic page in the newspaper, the sports page, or the headlines to find out what is going on in the world. Students should include at least 20 - 30 minutes of reading time every day.

Happy Reading!
