Timeline - Links to PBS will help you construct your timeline. Scan the articles for:
1) 3 events/causes of the Dust Bowl
2) 4 major events during the Dust Bowl
3) 3 events/effects of the Dust Bowl
New Deal program - Links to a scrapbook with some articles on legislation dealing with federal assistance. Also some PBS sites on the New Deal. These articles may help you with your social welfare program and poster.
Reading and Literature
Newstory - Links to Dust Bowl migrant camp newsletters. Look at some of the articles to see an example of how they spoke and wrote at that time. Also look at what was important enough to write about. Keep in mind you are picking an event from the book, "Out of the Dust", to write about.
