Spelling List for the week of December 7 - 11. 1. train 2. tray 3. mail 4. play 5. trail 6. crayon 7. sail 8. hay 9. nail 10. rain 11. stay 12. today Vocabulary 1. booth - a small room or compartment, usually with an opening. 2. plaque - a flat plate or slab with words and decorations that is displayed on walls. 3. station - a stopping place: a subway station is where the subway stops 4. token - a piece of metal like a coin, used to get into certain places. 5. commom noun - a person, place, or thing. 6. adjective - a word that describes a noun. 7. pronoun - a word that takes the place of a noun, like he, she, and it. *Note from Heather Fogle and Stacey Griffith: Hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner…we are planning the holiday party for the kids. We will be making milk carton(graham cracker) “ginger bread” houses. If you would be willing to donate any of the following for the party we would appreciate it: Graham Crackers (2 Boxes) Vanilla Frosting (6-8 cans) Candy Canes (small) Dessert plates (40) – For houses and snacks Juice Boxes Cup Cakes/Cookies Salty snack Any goodies as a take home for kids Please have items to school by Tues. Dec. 15th so I can make sure to get items we don’t have… Also is you are interested in helping out at the party let me or Stacy know! We will need help with the craft, game and food!
