Dear Host Families,
First of all, let me start by saying that those of you who know me are probably thinking to yourselves, "He's doing this on purpose! He can't live with the idea of not writing updates every day." Well, I'm not just making this up. Madame Bouvier has informed me that there is still a possibility that they will be able to come in October, following our original plan.
I'm not completely sure how, but there may have been a miscommunication between the government, the school administration, and Madame Bouvier.
I won't get into the details right now. Rather, I will say that instead of postponing the exchange, we'll just say that the plans are on hold and could go either way. (That's why I used the old letterhead again.) If in fact they get approval, and if the parents agree, they will be here. They will be the ones to decide.
I want to get the word out to you just in case you were making other plans for the period of time between October 19 and November 1.
I thank you for your continued understanding and cooperation during this confusing time.
