Dear Host Families,
I. Host Needed
Unfortunately, due to the recent confusion, we did lose a host family. If you know of anyone who is able to host, please contact me. If this person has a gender preference for an exchange student, we can easily make a switch, if necessary.
II. Excursions
As you will recall, students hosting exchange students are invited to participate in the excursions being offered (maximum 10 FHS students per trip). You may further recall that the deadline to sign up was September 19 (see the September 11 update).
Due to the confusion of the past few weeks, I have decided to make the deadline Monday, October 8. I can't extend it beyond that since reservations will be due shortly thereafter.

To guarantee your spot, you must make the payment to me by the deadline.
For your information, there will be a change in one excursion. What was the "Niagara Falls Excursion" is now the "Niagara Falls & Toronto Excursion" (as requested by the French), scheduled for October 23 and 24. Details (which are still in progress as of this writing) can also be found on the Excursions link mentioned above.
That's all for now. Who knows when you'll hear from me again? When you do, I'll have information regarding an informational meeting for parents of host families.
