Welcome to the Virginia Fire and Police Museum Educational Programming web page.
Classes are designed for children ages 4-14. Programs for classes include a hands-on fire safety lesson as well as a historical tour of the police and fire aspects of our historical site.
Classes are designed and adapted for each group depending on age and maturity levels.
The games and quizzes available from this site will be used for the classes to supplement our award-winning program.
So join the fun and learn some life-saving skills at the same time. Then, use your imaginations to travel back 150 years to the early days of fire-fighting and police services as you follow your guide throughout the museum.
Teachers are encouraged to contact me to find out more about our field trip program. SOL's covered in the program are available upon request.
