Here's the rest of the top players from the All-Star Week Final: 1st Place--Nick Kelley 2nd Place--Harry Mikaelian 3rd Place--(Tie) Erica Quevedo & Jonathan Shields 5th Place--Leila Meimandi 6th Place--Vanesse Perez A special thanks to the Tomato Club and the Smackdown Club for sponsoring the All-Star Final!! Remember that to participate in the SSB World Championship in May, you must maintain a 'C' average or better in each of Mr. Vandenberg's two 6th grade classes. Students on SSB Academic Probation must instead maintain a 'B' average for now on in their appropriate classes. A special message from Mr. Vandenberg: Why should I care about Bible Class? Since God created us to worship, glorify, and obey Him, and yet we have all fallen short and disobeyed our Creator, we are worthy of His judgment and punishment for our sins. Through the Bible, we learn of our God, and His message of forgiveness of our sins through trusting faith in the Savior, Jesus Christ, God's Son. Why should I care about English Class? One of the most important skills in life is communication. God communicates to us through His word, the Bible, and through His Son, Jesus Christ. In life, we will need the basic communication skills of reading and writing so that we can share our wonderful ideas with others, and so that others may share their spiffy ideas with us as well! In English Class, we learn and improve these skills. Caution!!: Beware of Tomatoes! :) Tomato Corner: Pres. Kimberly Flavin, V.P. Samantha Martson, Sec. Janey White Tomato Club announcement: Remember to return membership cards to Samantha on Fridays. If you need a card, talk to Kimberly. From, President Kimberly Is Tomato a fruit or a vegetable?? Plant experts consider tomatoes to be a fruit, but the U.S. Supreme Court officially declared that legally tomatoes are . . . vegetables!! Maybe there should be a recount! :) What do you think?
