VIRTUAL WWII MUSEUM ON-LINE
Objective: To develop the exhibits of a virtual WWII museum using technology.
DUE DATES:
1. DUE MONDAY, MARCH 5TH, 2007-Mr. Colasurdo's Classes
Statement of Purpose: One paragraph on your topic and how you are going to cover this topic. You must have topic approved by Mr. Colasurdo.
----DUE WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7TH, 2007-Ms. Luoma/Ms. Petrillo's Class
Statement of Purpose: One paragraph on your topic and how you are going to cover this topic. You must have topic approved by Ms. Luoma or Ms. Petrillo
2. DUE FRIDAY, MARCH 16TH, 2007: Information gathered from the internet on your topic.
3. DUE MARCH 23RD, 2007: Organizational outline / web
4. DUE THURSDAY, APRIL 5TH, 2007: Final Project
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Gather information using technology. Sources MUST include both internet and print materials. You MUST have at least three internet sources and two print resources. You MUST have a source/bibliography page and cite all materials (web sites, pictures, photos, sounds etc. appropriately!)
2. Use technology to organize the information. (Inspiration, Word, etc.)
3. Use technology to create project (Examples of technology are Movie Maker, PowerPoint, RadioMaker, etc.)
4. Share Project – Present project to class using technology (laptop, projector, t.v., etc.) You will need to practice ahead of time to make sure all programs and equipment work.
You can incorporate other technology that you may have at home (ex. Digital camera, scanners)

Narrow your search by adding more keywords, if necessary.
Use quotes to search for a phrase; for example "pilots of WWII"
RESEARCH ORGANIZATION TIPS
Remember to create a folder called VIRTUAL MUSEUM in MY DOCUMENTS to save all your work. You MUST have a Word document called RESOURCES/BIBLIOGRAPHY where you save and keep track of all the web sites where you get information or pictures. You should save any graphics in this folder but make sure you rename them so you can find them again. You should save your project here as well.
