Pour le 14 au 22 décembre:
Français I-7: We are studying foods, drinks, and restaurant vocabulary to be able to order and pay for a meal in a French restaurant. After learning the vocabulary, we are role-playing the parts of customer and waiter/waitress. Each student will get to practice both roles before the holiday vacation.
Français I-8: On Friday (12/11) we had a quiz on leçon 7. Students are learning the appropriate endings for the present tense of -er verbs. We will be finishing unit 3 on -er verbs by the holiday vacation. There is one more lesson which will be covered this week. There are online activities to help students review for the unit test, which we will take when we return in January, 2010!

Exploratory Spanish/French-After covering all the lessons dealing with numbers, we are learning common greetings when meeting Spanish/French-speaking people. We are practicing the polite expressions when addressing an adult, as well as the friendly forms for talking to people our own age. We will have a quiz on this material before the holiday vacation.
