National Junior Honor Society
About Us
NJHS is a group of students at Central that have shown academic excellence within their school. NJHS is where these students come together to give service to their community. Central Middle School is a duly affiliated chapter of the prestigious NHS. Membership is open to those who meet the standards on five areas of evaluation: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Citizenship, Character. Students in the second semester of 6th grade, or 7-8 are eligible, and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher. We are currently organizing "I Love to Read" month activities, an Anti-bullying Campaign, Memorial Day Ceremony, and are even working to help NJHS students of the future.
