National Junior Honor Society: Second 9-weeks Service Logs are due on Friday, December 16th by 8:00 a.m. Please be sure your name is on the log and that all signatures are complete. You may turn them in to Shelby Patti, Mrs. Brown, or Mrs. Horn.
National Junior Honor Society Children’s Hospital Service Project
Each member must do at least one of the following:
•Make a card(s) for a child
Please make sure that it is neat and colorful.
You may use markers, crayons, glitter, etc.
Please write one of the following messages:
Hope you are feeling better soon!
Hoping this card will put a smile on your face!
Thinking about you and wishing you joy for the holidays!
Please write “Happy Holidays’” and sign ONLY your first name.
•Make a friendship bracelet(s) for a child
•Donate a coloring book and/or a box of crayons for the children
You may make the cards and/or bracelets at home or in my classroom after school.
•If you choose to make the item at home, you may get the supplies you need from me and take them home to complete the project.
•If you choose to stay after school and work in my classroom, I will be in my classroom on the following days:
Tuesday, Dec. 6th until 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 7th until 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 8th until 3:15 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 14th until 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 15th until 4:00 p.m.
•All items are due by 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20th.
Please remember that this does NOT count as part of your 5 service hours for your service log.
