(3) Short answer: 6 questions about geography, culture, human history, and how these are related... You must answer 4 questions (2 points) each. The other 2 may be answered for extra credit. 8 points

Review the maps you created in class! (lines of latitude & longitude, major bodies of water & landforms, continents, oceans, culture regions, and first civilizations)
Also review the 4 elements of any good map! You will need to identify examples & uses of each.
(2) There are also short answer questions on every test.
Review the major topics we have discussed in this unit:
* 5 Themes of Geography: definitions & examples of each.
* 7 Elements of Culture: examples & purpose of each.
* Effects of physical features (geography) on human features (culture).
* Human history: development & characteristics of civilizations.
* Cultural diffusion: examples & positive/negative effects.
(3) Review your notes & homework. Highlight main ideas. Reread the chapters. Every time you look at the information again, it is more likely you will be able to remember it later.
(4) Pick a term or concept & try to explain it to someone else. Talking about it or teaching it to someone are the best ways to learn something!!
