Well, it's the end of November so I will tell you about what we're going to do in December. But, before I do, thank you everyone for the great response toward the supplies I needed for the Thanksgiving treats. The kids loved making them and eating them. If I received extra items I just saved them for Fun Friday treats and Smiley Man candy. I hope you don't mind.

This month we will be doing several Christmas activities. We already made perfectly irregular Christmas trees to hang from the ceiling. We will paint stockings, write letters to Santa and learn how Mexico celebrates Christmas.

Almost everyone has finished the first five lists of flash cards and are in practice readers. Keep working on the flashcards and keep reading. Our highest number of books read for the 2nd nine weeks is 100. Don't forget to write the books down on the Pizza Hut papers and on the regular reading lists.

The phonics is getting more difficult so bear with us. Your child will catch on to this coding business and so will you!

Please practice spelling words every night. The lists go home on Monday and the test is on Friday. If it is a four day week the test is on Thursday. No test will be given if it's a three day week.

Math is going smoothly and I think everyone is doing well.

Thanks again for your help and support and if you have questions or concerns, call me or e-mail me.
