Westward Expansion
Collage:
You are going to receive many graphics on the Westward Expansion. You will need to create a collage that demonstrates what you have learned.
You need to include at least three from each categories.
1.Names of Presidents/People who participated.
2. Vocabulary of events, wars, transportation.
3.Illustrations of buildings, transportation, people, clothes.
4 Maps of trails, battles, expeditions, war.
Letter:
You will take on the role of a Soldier, Lewis or Clark, Gold Miner, or a Land Grab Prospect. Write a letter to a family member or someone you are associated with. For example if you are Lewis and Clark you would write a letter President Jefferson. Use the textbook to help you out with evidence and specific information true to time and place.
In three paragraphs explain
1. What you see.
2. What you are experiencing.
3. What you hope to accomplish when you arrive or finish your mission.
