Announcements / Reminders

· Monday we had our Job Fair.  Community Helpers that were scheduled were a chiropractor, ultra sound tech, banker, and cosmetologist.  Next Friday Feb. 18, we are going to have a dress-up day.  Send your child in a costume/outfit of someone they would like to be when they grow up.  We are letting you know ahead of time to give you a chance to look for something your child really wants to be.
**Here are some pictures of our day!

· Post Office Trip - Thursday Feb. 10th we will take a short trip to the Post Office.  We will take a tour of the Post Off ice, buy a stamp, and mail a Valentine letter.  We will only be gone from school about 20 minutes.  Please send an envelope addressed to the person they want to mail a valentine to, along with 37 cents for a stamp.  Part of the trip is to teach the children how to buy and post a stamp.
· Valentine Party – Please decorate a valentine box and send it to school along with their valentines on Friday (11th).  Try to get them to come up with something creative!  Remember to double-check your valentines to make sure you made one for each student.  Also, check folders to see if you were asked to bring something for the party.  If you were not and would like to send candy, please feel free to.  Monday February 14 @ 1:45 we will start the party and exchange valentines. A list of students will be included in folders.
· February 16th – Field trip to see the play “There Was an Old Lady Who Lived in a Shoe” in Little Rock.  There are still some who need to pay, please do so ASAP!
