Welcome to Culinary Arts
Culinary Arts students study planning, selecting, storing, purchasing, preparing and serving food and food products; basic nutrition, sanitation, and food safety; the use and care of commercial equipment; serving techniques; and entrepreneurship opportunities within the field are emphasized. Upon completion of this course students may seek certification from NOCTI. Culinary Arts is a Dual Enrollment course through Virginia Highlands Community College.
