Welcome to 6th grade! This is our homework page which we will update as best as possible on a daily basis. This site should be made a "favorite" of yours and used to confirm the homework assignments that you write in your agenda. Also, we include important information about class activities and forms that need to be returned by a specific date.
Camp Bournedale...January 22, 2010...The second notice for Camp Bournedale was passed out today. Your second payment for Camp is due on February 12. In addition, we need to know if your child will not be attending Camp Bournedale by February 1. The attached Camp Bournedale Health Form must be returned and signed by a doctor, if necessary, in order for your child to attend Camp. A doctor's physical form may not be substituted for this yellow form. There will be an evening informational meeting/presentation by the camp director in early February...A notice will be passed out shortly. However, if you have any questions or concerns about Camp Bournedale before the meeting, please contact your child's homeroom teacher.

SCIENCE: Quiz tomorrow on 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4. Study using Quia Activities vocabulary and pretest on Seeded Plants. Teacher made worksheets and reading study guides. Take Home Test due on Friday. Get science book covered by Friday.

-Ch 1 L 1 =Chapter 1 Lesson 1 in the SS book or packet
-Letters are associated with page #s to distinguish the packets. Each of the SS packets are given a letter A, B, C, D, etc. to keep items in order. I will assign homework using the letter of the packet and the page number

- There will be a Camp Bournedale information meeting for parents on Tuesday, February 9th at 7:00 PM in the NMS cafetorium.
- The second payment of $105.00 for Camp Bournedale is due by February 12th. Checks should be made payable to NORWELL MIDDLE SCHOOL.
- Health forms for Camp Bourndale are due by March 5th.

- Many students have run out of lined, loose-leaf paper. Our classroom supply is running low. If possible please replenish your child's supply of lined paper. Thank you.
- Students must have a PENCIL for math class.
- I will be holding late night every Wednesday for homework help, review for quizzes or tests, and work that needs to be made up. Students are welcome to attend if they need any help with math and/or science.
- Students should be reviewing new science vocabulary terms for at least 10 minutes each night.
