Welcome to 6th grade! This is our homework page which we will update as best as possible on a daily basis. This site should be made a "favorite" of yours and used to confirm the homework assignments that you write in your agenda. Also, we include important information about class activities and forms that need to be returned by a specific date.
A notice was included with your child's report card that offered you the opportunity to schedule an afternoon or evening teacher/parent conference on December 1. Please send your request to albuquerque@norwellschools.org, and a conference will be set up for you.

2. Highlight key words in your B packet, add any additional info necessary from the reading, and answer the essential and review questions
3. Begin studying your map of the Fertile Crescent

2. The Chapter 4 test will be before Thanksgiving Break- the focus on the test is the A packet- history of the 5 empires- and the B packet, which covers the same info further in detail
Abbreviations to be aware of...
-Ch 1 L 1 =Chapter 1 Lesson 1 in the SS book or packet
-Letters are associated with page #s to distinguish the packets. Each of the SS packets are given a letter A, B, C, D, etc. to keep items in order. I will assign homework using the letter of the packet and the page number
ALBUQUERQUE/FERRIS
Math (Ferris):
1) Division Equations - Practice C, Reteach, and Puzzles page (do checks on Puzzles page)
2) Test on Solving Equations Tuesday, 11/24
Science (Ferris):
1) Finish research for your "Be a Disease Detective" project
2) Test on Chapter 2 (Viruses and Bacteria) will be on Monday, 11/23
* Other Notes from Miss Nettles*
- Many students have run out of lined, loose-leaf paper. Our classroom supply is running low. If possible please replenish your child's supply of lined paper. Thank you.
- Students must have a PENCIL for math class.
- I will be holding late night every Wednesday for homework help, review for quizzes or tests, and work that needs to be made up. Students are welcome to attend if they need any help with math and/or science.
- Students should be reviewing new science vocabulary terms for at least 10 minutes each night.
- "Scientist Sleuth" has returned!!
