Monday, May 25 is Memorial Day and there is no school! Monday, June 8 is Field Day. June 12-16 are early dismissal days. June 16 is the last day of school!

Language Arts: Reading and Writing
This week we will read the story Fox on Stage. We will study words with the ow diphtong. We will also review pronouns and ending puncutation. The students will continue to work on our end of the year writing project.

We will continue to practice counting coins at the class store and as we earn money. This week we will also start our measurement unit. First, we will measure time to the hour and half hour by using digital and analog clocks.
Science and Social Studies
This week we will start to talk about animals. The students will compare animals and discuss where animals live.
