Welcome, students, researching a Person Who Changed His/Her World!!

For the overall project review the assignment here and the assessment here.

1. Books and Report:

  • Books can be chosen from the MD library collection and/or the public library. Approval by Mrs. Casement is required.

    2. Other Requirements:

  • Additional sources encompass various multi-media, including but not limited to magazines, podcasts, interviews and speeches. Make sure you fulfill the requirements listed here. Your reactions to these resources are requested using the links below. One link is for speech and one link is for podcast reaction. You will have additional opportunities to comment on this project via the project blog. See the link below that will take you to the blog. Use your school e-mail (studentlogin@fairport.org) Use Explorer not Mozilla.

    3. This project requires a bibliography and parenthetical documentation. When completing research, it's critical that you understand the importance of citing your sources and giving credit to those who deserve it. EasyBib, a link below, will guide you through creating a Works Cited page. If you have not already registered, you can do so now by going to the link below and logging on with your student login@fairport.org

  • When using quotations you need to give credit to the source using parenthetical documentation. To help with parenthetical documentation, click here.

    4. Cover Sheet:

  • To find photographs for your cover go to Google Images or the FlickrStorm site below. Save both picture and quote in your personal student drive. Later, you will most likely use them for your speech.
