1. Speech Guidelines:

• Use the template below to create a two-minute speech on your person, which you will then present to your class.

2. PowerPoint Slide:

• Create a single PowerPoint slide to be displayed as a back-drop during your presentation. Save the PowerPoint slide in two places: to Student group drive under MD English-Casement Per 3, Per 4, Per 6 Per 8 or Per 9 . and to your own folder.

• Each slide should have the two quotes and a single picture. Remember to use a basic slide layout and to create only one slide. The library staff will then take each student's slide and create a class PowerPoint project.

• Please save your PowerPoint slide using your last name, the word "Speech" and your class period. Save this way in both your own folder and the student group drive: MD English-Casement Per ? Example: Johnson_Speech7. Remember to keep the ppt extension.
