Welcome Global Honors Students!

The following information will help you with your Yesterday's News Historical Background Assignment.

Here's What You'll Need For Each Task:

For Part A: You have already collected and read articles. If you need additional assistance selecting an event as this year's turning point, we have included a link to The New York Times below. Also, don't forget that you will need to have a bibliography. The style sheet is linked below for your convenience and includes the Citation Maker Tool.

For Part B: Here is the list of turning points in world history . Once you've made your selection, use the library books (which you can search and locate using our online library catalog: Oasis) AND the online resources listed below to assist you in the research process.

See this Turning Point Handout for assistance in writing your two-page summary of the historical turning point.

For Part C: Now, using the information you have gathered, use your own brain and speculate to see how history could have been changed OR to predict the future!

Good luck!! We're here to help if you need it.
