'Used to'

Notice the difference between 'used to' + infinitive for past actions or states, and 'to BE used to' + verb+ing for things which are normal for you:

'I used to get up early' = I got up early regularly in the past, but I don't these days.

'I am used to getting up early' = I am accustomed to getting up early, getting up early is nothing unusual for me.
