Irregular plurals
Plurals are words that mean more than one thing. In the english language, an -s is usually added to make a plural (dog/dogs). However, plurals are made in other ways, like adding -es (mix/mixes); changing a y ending to an -ies (city/cities); making an f or fe ending into -ves (life/lives); changing spelling altogether (goose/geese); keeping the same word (men/men); or having words that are always plural (trousers). Keep this is mind as you try to choose the correct plural for the examples given!
