Paso a Paso 1, Chapter 7 Game on the verb "poder" / can, to be able; "querer" / to want; "pensar" / to plan
Remember that "poder", "querer" and "pensar" are helper verbs that have to go with other verbs to express what someone can do. The verbs they help always end in -ar, -er, -ir (infinitive form), just like in English: I want to buy an ice cream cone. When you ask questions in Spanish, the verb goes in front of the subject, such as "can you"...? in English. Fill in the blank with the correct form of "poder", "querer", or "pensar".
