'-이/가 아니에요' means 'to be not.' After a consonant ending noun, '-이 아니에요' comes. Ex. 학생이 아니에요.(=I am not a student.) After a vowel ending noun, '-가 아니에요' comes. Ex. 커피가 아니에요. (=It is not coffee.)
