Adjectifs qui précèdent le nom: "Super Irregulars"
In French, most adjectives follow the noun they modify. Adjectives agree in gender & in number with the noun they modify. Some adjectives precede (come before) the noun they modify. This activity will review several of these adjectives. Key adjectives used in this section: beau (pretty/handsome), nouveau (new), vieux (old), all of which I refer to in class as Super Irregulars. Also, joli (pretty), jeune (young), petit (small), and grand (big) come before the noun they modify. However, these four accord like normal adjectives, and do not undergo huge spelling changes as do their cohorts, the Super Irregulars.
