How Does It Happen?
Some eggs take longer to hatch than others. Red-winged blackbird eggs hatch in about 11 days, and the eggs of the royal albatross, a seabird, usually take 79 days. But no matter how long it takes for young birds to hatch, they all start growing in the same way.
