A little about me.... I am excited to enter my 9th year teaching at TCS! I am passionate about teaching art to young people!! I have been married for seventeen years to my best-friend, Michael, and have two children, Logan (8th grade) and Megan (6th grade) this year. I love painting, drawing and ceramics as well as trying new art techniques. In my free-time, I enjoy curling up with a good book or hanging out with my family.
I am very excited to teach our TCS K-12 students art this year! I prayed twelve years ago as I was a substitute teacher that I wanted to teach art at TC someday. God's timing is PERFECT! I taught our preschoolers in the Eagle's Nest Preschool full-time for the last seven years and have grown as a teacher. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1990 from Siena Heights University. I am certified with the State of Ohio and am ACSI accredited to teach K-12 Art.
I have great plans for the third year teaching our after-school Young Rembrandts Art Club which is K-8 and the HS Art Club called TC Mural Makers that meets on Saturdays throughout the school year to paint and beautify our campus!
