I received my Bachelor's Degree in Math Education from Miami University in 2009. Upon completion of my student teaching, which I completed in Heidelberg, Germany, I began working as the At-Risk Math Teacher for Mason Consolidated Schools in Erie, Michigan. The following year I was hired at The Maritime Academy of Toledo in the Administration department. After teaching Nautical Traditions and running the after school enrichment program for a year, I decided to get back into teaching. I was hired in June at Toledo Christian and am looking forward to getting to know my fellow teachers and students.
In my free time, I am an avid sailor, tennis player, golfer and triathlete. I spend my summers working as the Director of the Ephraim Yacht Club in Ephraim, Wisconsin, one of the largest sailing schools in the country. I am a former Eagle Scout that loves enjoying the beautiful outdoors that God created!
Message
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24
