I have been blessed over the past eight years to call Saint Theresa Catholic School my teaching home. I have been teaching in Kindergarten that entire time. In prior years I have taught Kindergarten in another Diocesan school, worked across the state training teachers and Early Childhood directors in the use of self-study materials as they moved toward national accreditation, and I have run a Pre-school/Kindergarten program here in the Diocese of Phoenix. I received my degree in Elementary Education, with endorsements in Early Childhood and Kindergarten, from Ball State University in Indiana.

In my "free" time I sing in a local chorale. I really enjoy singing and our Director supports us to be the best that we can be. I am also entering my third year of piano lessons. As you might have guessed, music is very important in my life.

In my classroom window is a poster that says "Listen to the little people, they can fill your world with colorful surprises." And, they do on a daily basis - and I LOVE IT!

I truly look forward to this year with you and your child. I feel so privileged to be able to share in the development of your child, both spiritually and academically. Thank you for sharing them with our school community, and specifically, with me.
